Human Resources strives to provide each employee with the "personnel tools" needed to function within our healthcare setting. Eight highly skilled professionals provide benefits and retirement counseling, safety administration, recruitment services, salary administration, employer/employee relations, interpretation of State, Federal and Center regulations and laws, as well as employee and management development. The Human Resources Department is ever changing in scope and focus. Our mission is to serve our employees honestly and ethically; to respond quickly to employee and management needs; to provide guidance for consistent application of policies; and, to insure employees are treated as equitably as possible. Our primary role is to insure the presence of a quality workforce, appropriately compensated for the job to be performed, and well-educated about State benefits. Human Resources professionals are available Monday Through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., and by appointment for any after hours or weekend needs. Our office is located in the Administration Building on the main campus Vacancy announcements are posted each Friday on the J. Iverson Riddle Development Center Web Site under "New Employee", and on the Office of State Personnel Home Page. Here is our HR team: David Wise, Safety Officer
