All computer users must read the JIRDC Acceptable Use Policy and sign the JIRDC Computer User's Agreement form at the end of the policy if this has not already been signed. People who have e-mail or have access to the JIRDC network will have signed an agreement. (For example, ancillary staff, TR IIs, and TR IIIs all have access to computers so a signed agreement will already be on file.) |
The generic IDs on these machines will allow users who do not have a computer password to access Office software and the Internet. |
All users complete a sign-up sheet that will track their computer usage. The Computer Usage Tracking Form will be started for each first-time user and then filed alphabetically in a notebook. Each time users come to the lab they sign in on "their" sheet. This will be the record of their lab use. |
The lab is open to all staff and students (people who have signed learning agreements with Volunteer Services as students or interns at JIRDC), Monday - Friday, between the hours of 8 AM and 5 PM, providing no classes are scheduled. Individuals wanting to use the lab should be prescheduled by contacting Steffi Adams by e-mail or phone (2774). |
When scheduling a group or a class, the group leader or teacher will be the person responsible for scheduling the lab with Steffi Adams. |
All teachers should complete a Staff Development Training Roster to document the training. |

A VERY IMPORTANT NOTE! |
In order to protect our computers, please do not eat or drink in the lab. |
