The Nutrional Services Department serves the nutritional needs of J. Iverson Riddle consumers. We prepare both regular and special diets, consumed both here at in the community. The nutritional needs of our consumers are determined by consultation, planning and interaction with Medical, Clinical, and Program Staff to meet the special needs and preferences of the people who live at the Riddle Developmental Center.

We purchase, store, and prepare food under strict dietary guidelines, using safe food handling practices to provide attractive, nutritious and wholesome meals. Nutritional Services also prepares meals for between meal snacks, nourishment, and many cookouts for special events such as holidays, birthdays, activities and such. We strive for the satisfaction of our consumers, and are constantly working to provide as much variety and home-style food as possible.
