The Program Service component of the Riddle Developmental Center is responsible for providing quality care, treatment and training to 350 individuals with developmental disabilities who reside at the facility. The programs offered are designed to meet an array of interests and needs for the individuals served in a person-centered way. Program emphasis is given to experiential learning through functional life activities based on a person's abilities, interests and needs. A primary goal is for each individual to experience a full and quality life through participation in opportunities to gain new skills and independence.

In addition to the individuals served who reside at the Center, persons with developmental disabilities from the Western Region of the State are provided respite services, day programming and consultation in their home communities. Two primary areas comprise Program Services - Residential Services and Professional Services.
